Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.

Six days shalt thou labour
“Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work.” — Exodus 20:9
Labor & Blessing
“Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God” (Exodus 20:9–10). “Let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth” (Ephesians 4:28). Jesus said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. … Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
