I love Jesus — how do I know Heavenly Father?

Jesus said no one comes to the Father except by Him (John 14:6), and that life eternal is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent (John 17:3). Loving Christ is the doorway; scripture shows He prayed to the Father, taught us to pray to our Father in heaven, and that the Father gave Him authority (John 5:26–27; Matthew 6:9).

Did Jesus pray to God the Father?

Yes. Jesus taught us to pray “Our Father which art in heaven” (Matthew 6:9), prayed “Abba, Father” in Gethsemane (Mark 14:36), and said He ascended to His Father and our Father (John 20:17). This is not meant to confuse lovers of Christ — it is more light so joy may be full (John 16:23–24).

Is Jesus Christ the only way to the Father?

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). We encourage everyone toward Him — not away.

I do not yet believe God is real — is there a place for me?

Yes.
