Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
My Father's House · Room 1 of 12
I am the way, the truth, and the life
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6
The Way
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). His atonement opens the door; apostles and prophets point to Him. Come unto Christ first — then receive more light from His Word.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Behold I have given unto you my gospel, and this is the gospel which I have given unto you—that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me. And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross…
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” — John 3:17
You are already being drawn
Jesus said, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him” (John 6:44), and “I am the way… no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Keep walking with Christ — He shows the Father who sent Him.
Authority was given to the Son
Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority…” (John 5:26–27).
Seeing the Son and knowing the Father
Jesus said, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9), and “the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works” (John 14:10).
Ask the Father in Jesus’ name
Jesus taught, “Our Father which art in heaven” (Matthew 6:9), and “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23).
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
